Republic-wide volunteer clean-up will be held in Bashkortostan on April 27

Tomorrow, on April 27, environmental clean-up events “Green Bashkiria” will be held throughout the republic under the single slogan “Let's make our republic cleaner!”.

This is the second republican cleanup this year. On April 6, about 320 thousand residents of the region participated in the first spring general cleaning.

The main goal of the annual events is to improve sanitary and ecological state and accomplish the territories of settlements.

Famous athletes of Bashkortostan will take part in a clean-up day at the site of the facility being built for the International Children's Games - Sports Training Center in Kamyshlinskaya Street. The swimmer, eight-time Paralympic champion Oksana Savchenko, biathlete, three-time world champion Maxim Chudov, skier and biathlete Irek Zaripov, foil fencer, European champion Adelina Bikbulatova, athlete, champion of Russia Dmitry Petrov will hold a workout for the participants of the volunteer clean-up. The performance of creative teams is planned, the athletes will lay out a new coniferous “Champions Alley ”. At the end, everybody will be treated with tea and porridge.

Besides, on this day mass cleaning will take place on Dolgoye Lake in the Nizhegorodka neighborhood. A "Colorful Cleaning" will be carried out at the "Vodnik" stadium. New themed alleys will appear in the Education Center No. 10 and Minibaev Street.
