On April 25, in the House of the Republic, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov met with the Heroes of the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation Nikolay Antoshkin, Vladimir Alimov, Rafik Ikhsanov, Rif Sakhabutdinov, Sergey Tulin and the holder of the Order of St. George Sergey Makarov, the press service of the head of the republic reports.

These days the participants of the republican civil-patriotic project “Alignment with by Heroes” attend educational institutions and numerous youth events, award the winners of the Gagarin Olympiad.

“I want to thank you for visiting Bashkortostan and taking part in a large number of events and meetings,” said Radiy Khabirov. “Our republic is always in good standing in military affairs; even our draftees are in high demand in military registration and enlistment offices.”

The famous officers told the head of the region about their meetings with Ufa schoolchildren and draftees. The meeting participants were unanimous in the opinion that it was essential to give young people an opportunity to learn about heroes, to bring up patriotism, civic responsibility, selfless and disinterested service to the Motherland from living examples.
