More than 200 thousand people took part in two Ufa volunteer clean-ups

More than 200 thousand people took part in the volunteer clean-ups in Ufa on April 6 and 13. A total of 1,929 units of equipment worked. Moreover, on April 20, more than 31 thousand employees of the housing and public utilities services of the city launched an environmental campaign. Rustem Khamitov, the Head of the Ufa Landscaping and Public Utilities Directorate at a briefing session at the mayor’s office, said that over 7,000 cubic meters of garbage had been taken out to the solid municipal waste landfill in Cherkasy, over 5,000 meters of metal fences had been repaired. District administrations planted 253 trees and shrubs. The patching of roads continues in Ufa.

“Since the beginning of the season, more than 3,683 tons of asphalt-concrete mix have been laid on a total area of ​​more than 22,700 square meters, which is two times more than the same period last year,” said Rustem Khamitov.

The next workday in the framework of the spring month for landscaping and planting of greenery will take place on April 27.
