Radiy Khabirov: We should ensure complete safety of participants in May holidays

Residents of the republic will have long May holidays in early May. Five days of holiday weekends from May 1 to 5, and another four days off, from May 9 to 12, during the Victory Day celebration.

“The May Holidays are expected to be massive. In all municipalities, a large number of facilities will be involved with many crowded venues. It is assumed that up to 300 thousand people will visit the events. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure these days law and order and the complete safety of the participants in the festivities, ”said the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov at the joint meeting of the anti-terrorist commission of Bashkortostan and the emergency response center in the republic held yesterday.

The meeting also considered security issues at the Summer International Children's Games.

“As you know, the Games will be held from July 9 to 14. It is expected the participation of about 2 thousand athletes from 30 countries of the world. In Ufa, seven hotels for accommodation and seven sports facilities for competitions will be involved. Therefore, the safety of these children must be ensured at any part of the capital, ”said Radiy Khabirov.
