More than 20 thousand inhabitants of Sibay became participants of “Save Nature Together” eco-project

More than 20 thousand schoolchildren and students of Sibay became participants of the “Save the Planet Together” ecological project. Now the experience of the Sibay residents is planned to be distributed in the city of Neftekamsk, the leader of the eco-project, deputy chairman of the youth parliament at the Sibay city council Azamat Bayramgulov told Bashinform News Agency.

According to Azamat Bayramgulov, it all started with the installation of special containers for collecting waste paper in colleges and university of Sibay. It was made possible due to a grant from the Asyltash Forum and sponsorship.

Later, waste paper containers appeared in a children's art school, a local health care center, and the main building of Sibay Mining Plant. So far, the last 12 containers will be installed in the schools of Sibay by the end of May. Total, eco-containers will be located in more than 20 different venues in the city.

The participants of the eco-movement buy seedlings and plant trees and shrubs in local squares with the proceeds from the waste paper utilization, as well as with funds from sponsors. For two years, volunteers planted more than 800 different seedlings in five squares in Sibay. This year it is planned to plant another 200.
