Radiy Khabirov thanked law enforcement officers for fighting bootleggers in Bashkiria

The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov thanked the law enforcement agencies of the republic for their active work in combatting illegal alcohol business.

Thus, in the first three months of this year, more than 11.5 thousand liters of illegal alcohol and alcohol-containing products were seized in the region. The activities of the underground shop for bottling counterfeit products were stopped in the Sterlitamak district. More than 1,5 thousand liters of counterfeit alcohol was withdrawn. Such data were announced at a briefing session in the republican Government.

In the first three months of 2019, 29 criminal cases have already been initiated in the region related to the illegal sale of alcohol. 758 administrative offenses in this area were revealed compared with 813 such violations in 2018. The work has actually intensified, it was noted at the session.

“The figures are impressive. In terms of the number of criminal and administrative liabilities for the first quarter of 2019, the amount of work was done corresponds actually to the whole year of work. I would like to thank the prosecutor's office, the Interior Ministry for this work”, said Radiy Khabirov. “In fact, this is such a huge civilizational process. We, on the one hand, should prohibit, and on the other - give people something in return: jobs, healthy lifestyles, cultural leisure. Our villages must be civilized. ”

Recall that the Acting Head RB Radiy Khabirov was an initiator of local gatherings in cities and villages aimed at fighting "home-grown bootleggers". He announced it a month ago in Buraevo village, speaking at a seminar-meeting for the heads of rural settlements of the north-western regions of the republic.
