At a meeting of the State Assembly RB on April 9, it is planned to consider a bill on fines for parking on lawns in the second reading. Previously, it was submitted for revision to define clearer concepts of lawns and green areas, as well as to establish the responsibility of municipalities for the lawns arrangement. It was announced on April 8 at a briefing session in the Bashkiria government by the Interim Minister of Housing and Utilities RB Mikhail Kireev.
“The main reason for the unauthorized parking is the lack of space reserved for parking vehicles, parking lots, as well as parking pockets along the roadway. According to municipalities, the most pressing issue is parking on lawns in the cities of Ufa and Oktyabrsky. I note that administrative commissions work well only in three out of nine city districts - these are Ufa, Sterlitamak and Oktyabrsky, ”said Mikhail Kireev.
The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov noted that judging by the number of protocols drawn up (315 from the beginning of the year - ed.), the administrative commissions did not start the work he had asked for. This is due to the fact that they do not have an instrument of legal pressure, which should appear when the bill on fines for parking on lawns is adopted.
As for roads patching, 450 requests for holes in the courtyards in Bashkortostan were entered into the new information system of the “Road Expert” application, according to the Interim Minister of Housing and Utilities RB. Of these, 15 were fulfilled, 311 were under repair, 32 were rejected and 92 new requests were not processed yet.
“In addition to the application, the Ministry of Housing and Utilities RB organized the collection of information on the detection and elimination of holes in the courtyards from local authorities. According to the results of the yard examinations, 16 thousand 602 holes were found with a total area of 26,572 sq. m. Of these, 4,419 holes were eliminated with a total area of 2,850 square meters”, Mikhail Kireev said.
According to the Chairman of the State Committee RB for Transport and Road Management Timur Mukhametyanov, today the “Road Expert” application has digitized 1,719 holes, of which 827 in Ufa, most of all in the Salavat and Oktyabrsky districts. There are 792 applications are under consideration in the republic, 369 of them have already been completed.
Radiy Khabirov said that the “Road Expert” application was checked, many drawbacks were eliminated. Conventionally, it is ready for 90%.
Timur Mukhametyanov reported that the total number of holes to be liquidated by June 15 is 505 thousand 973.
