All conditions for comfortable work will be created for healthcare workers in Bashkiria - Radiy Khabirov

The Government of Bashkiria will do everything possible to create comfortable, high-quality occupational conditions for healthcare workers. It was stated by the Acting Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, at an offsite meeting in the “Healthcare Hour” format, which was held at the City Clinical Hospital No. 21 on April 4. According to the head of the working group under the administration of the head of Bashkortostan on residents' appeals Elena Prochakovskaya, the number of complaints about healthcare has significantly decreased in Bashkiria, but sensitive issues remain.

From March 21 to April 3, 205 complaints were received - 81 in writing (40 percent) and 124 through social media (60 percent). 26 complaints regarding oncology related to the relationship with doctors, the provision of medicines and assistance. The cities of Ufa, Sterlitamak and Beloretsk district are leaders in complaints. In Salavat, residents complained about the shortage of doctors and the maintenance of hospitals. In Ufa, in polyclinic No. 4, residents complained about difficulties with appointments to doctors.

In Neftekamsk, residents drew attention to the lack of a fluorography office in the clinic, as well as to a private medical center in the neighborhood, which provided this medical service. Patients had to go for a procedure to another clinic, which is located 1.5 km away.

“It is planned to conclude an agreement with this private medical organization and include it to the obligatory medical insurance system so that patients will be able to receive healthcare assistance in this company. The possibility of obtaining free medical care is available even now. The plan on upgrading the material and technical facilities until 2024 includes a purchase of the necessary equipment”, the Interim Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin explained.

“We are expecting professionalism and humane treatment from healthcare workers,” said the head of Bashkiria.
