Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, during an offsite meeting in the Healthcare Hour format, visited the Regional Vascular Center, which is located at the City Clinical Hospital No. 21 in Ufa. The head of the region was shown diagnostic rooms, examination rooms, intensive care and reanimation wards, a hall with anatomical models and equipment for future doctors. The head of the republic also observed the operation of the patient after a stroke — he entered the hospital on the morning of April 4. As explained by the head of the X-ray surgical diagnostic and treatment department of the City Clinical Hospital No.21 Ilshat Mukhametzyanov, 15 such operations are performed per day.

In this hospital, two operating beds are available already in the admission ward for patients in serious condition. The paramedics, who are taking patients to the hospital No.21, inform the admissions manager about the need for an emergency room, and by the time the ambulance arrives with the patient on board, a specialized team meets him/her and immediately starts rendering medical assistance. Total, the City Clinical Hospital No. 21 has ten surgical departments, two resuscitation units, 36 surgeons are employed there.
