Healthcare Week starts in Bashkiria

Today in Ufa, a Medical Forum-Exhibition “Healthcare Week in Bashkortostan” started its work at the VDNkH -EXPO. This year the forum is held for the fourth time. The forum plans to discuss the development of children's health care and primary health care, combatting cardiovascular diseases and oncology, improvement of staff assistance and creation of a single digital base in health care.

More than 160 companies from 17 regions of Russia take part in the exhibition. Visitors will be able to appreciate the state-of-the-art equipment, technology and scientific and industrial development, the latest global and domestic achievements in all areas of health care. They can get consultations of medical clinics specialists regarding a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating, wellness, and recreation.

Physicians, pediatricians, dentists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, oncologists, ophthalmologists, and psychologists will give free consultations at health centers to be opened by April 5. On the site in front of the VDNkH-EXPO, surveys are organized in mobile complexes "Diagnostics", "Women's Health", "Cardiomodule", "Dentistry". Sanatorium-resort institutions of the republic will also offer their services to the visitors.

For the second year in a row, an exposition for people with disabilities has been organized in Ufa. The international company Messe Düsseldorf Moscow presented the companies that produce goods and services, equipment for the federal program “Accessible Environment”. Today, on the opening day of the Health Care Week, the Republican Cardiology Center and the Bashkir Exhibition Company are holding the campaign “Dress in Red”. The well-known Russian project is aimed at raising the awareness of Russian women about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

The exhibition organizers call on all participants of the Healthcare Week to support the campaign and come in red clothes on April 2, or use accessories of this color, take pictures in a specially created photo zone and post photos on social networks with #GoRed_Russia hashtags, #dressinred, #medical forum, #medical exhibition.
