Radiy Khabirov: “We will definitely implement recommendations of Human Rights Council”

The Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, answering a question of Bashinform News Agency about the role of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation, noted that the Council was one of the most effective tools created by the President of Russia to organize monitoring of the human rights situation and, accordingly, taking the necessary measures to protect them.

“Today we have already heard several recommendations of the Council - on the penitentiary system, and the organization of work with citizens’ appeals, and many others. It is useful for us. Our management team is extremely open to any proposals that are aimed at making people's lives better, providing more effective protection of their rights. ”

According to Radiy Khabirov, it was a very fruitful dialogue.

“The members of the Council are still working. They will finish their work with the adoption of the recommendations, which we will definitely implement. Moreover, we have agreed that in the summer of this year we will again hold a meeting with members of the Council in our republic and discuss the further development of civil society institutions, non-profit organizations and more useful mechanisms for protecting human rights, ”said the Acting Head of Bashkiria.
