A stamp with the emblems of Ufa and the Republic of Bashkortostan is issued in the post circulation in Russia

The stamp is issued simultaneously with a special postmark and envelope in the series “Coats of arms of constituent entities and cities of the Russian Federation”. It is reported by the press office of the administration of Ufa, citing the branch of the Russian Post for Bashkortostan.

The postage stamp depicts the coat of arms of the city of Ufa, the coat of arms of Bashkortostan and the map of the Russian Federation. The stamp is issued on March 28 at the Ufa Post Office.

The modern emblem of Ufa was approved in 2006. It was created based on the historical coat of arms with a running marten, which appeared in the middle of the 17th century on the seal of the Ufa government office.

The circulation of the stamp is 30 thousand copies. It is noteworthy that the cancellation of the first day, timed to the issuance of the postal block from the series “Coats of arms of subjects and cities of the Russian Federation” dedicated to Ufa and the Republic of Bashkortostan, will be held simultaneously in Ufa and Moscow - a special first day stamp was made for the Russian capital separately.
