Radiy Khabirov: Human Rights Council is sometimes people’s last resort

The Council under the President of Russia on the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights is sometimes the last resort of people trying to find help in solving their problems. This was announced by the Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov at a plenary session of the Council, which is taking place at the Ufa Congress Hall “Toratau”. According to him, the republican authorities will appreciate the recommendations of the Council and will pay attention to them.

The head of the republic noted that he and his team were well aware that the development of Bashkortostan was impossible in case of lack of trust to the authorities.

“We create transparent, clear communications with residents. The “Incident” program allows not only responding to citizens' complaints but also solving them immediately. Today, all heads of ministries and departments are actively working in social media. During the first quarter of this year, more than 22 thousand appeals from residents of the republic were sent to me alone, 13 thousand of them via social networks, ”said Radiy Khabirov.

In the structure of complaints, the first place was taken by the issues related to the improvement and creation of a comfortable urban environment. They were followed by the problems of roads, utilities, ecology, health, public transport, and education.

The head of the region drew the attention of the members of the Human Rights Council that one of the most important moments in the development of a legal state was the alternation of power. In his opinion, the heads of municipalities should not be in power for more than two consecutive terms in a row, and now work is being done in this direction in the republic, new heads of administrations appear in districts and cities of Bashkortostan.
