For the season in Bashkiria, 205 thousand people have had flu and ARVI, which is 5% of the total population of the republic. The regional administration of Rospotrebnadzor said that the epidemic was over. The peak of the epidemic threshold fell on February 17, 2019.

“The maximum excess of epidemic thresholds in the republic was 56.5%, in Ufa - 55.5%. The peculiarity of this season was the low intensity of the epidemic process and the prolonged excess of the epidemic thresholds of morbidity among the adult population. Whereas among the children's population between the ages of 3-6 years and 7-14 years, only two weeks were observed when the epidemic threshold of incidence was exceeded, and in the age group 0-2 years, the incidence of epidemic thresholds was not recorded, ”the management experts explained.

Doctors registered the largest number of those who caught a cold in Ufa - 67.5 thousand people, which is 6.5% of the city’s population, including 35.7 thousand sick children, or 15% of the number of children. The proportion of children was 60% of the total number of cases.

During the epidemic in Bashkiria, 44 schools and 11 kindergartens were fully quarantined, in part - 74 classes in 30 schools and 29 groups - in 21 preschool institutions.
