Bashinform.rf doubled its audience to 1.5 million new visitors per month

The Bashinform.rf website doubled its audience in 2018 - to 1.5 million unique users per month. The Bashkortostan TV and Radio Company launched the bash.news website, which gathered 1 million visitors per month during the year of operation. The total volume of visits to all Internet resources of state publications exceeded 80 million (+ 37.5% by 2017). It was reported at the board of the Agency for Press and Media RB.

The Internet audience of print publications also increased - more than 300 thousand visitors per month, with a slight decrease in circulation (-2.8%). The print media audience is now 1.8 million people; most of them are readers of online versions. Consumers of printed products remain mostly older people. Total republican media now have more than 360 accounts with an audience of over 1.2 million people.

According to Maxim Ulchev, Bashinform News Agency CEO, the advertising market is firmly mastered by such giants as Yandex and Mail.Ru (owns VKontakte and Odnoklassniki social media). Local publications have to earn in local markets.
