Bashkortostan Emergency Ministry warns of winds strengthening up to 23 m/s

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan warns of adverse weather events in the form of wind gusts of up to 23 m/s and poor visibility of up to 500 meters or less. According to the Regional Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Directorate, cloudy weather is expected from 8:00 pm on March 5 to 8:00 pm on March 6 in the republic. At night, intermittent rain and snow mixed, in some places increasing to moderate, in the afternoon, sleet turning into rain are predicted. At night and in the morning in some areas, a blizzard, snow deposits and slush build-up on wires and trees, light ice-slick, packed snow on the roads, black ice will be observed. The wind will be southern, southwestern 8-13 m/s, with gusts up to 18-23 m/s. The air temperature at night will drop to -2, -7 C, in the daytime -2, + 3 C.
