Ufa construction engineers are planning to assign the function of cargo delivery to flying drones. Maximum weight - up to 20 kg. Young scientists print out fasteners for unmanned vehicles on a 3D printer and use special plastic made from corn as raw materials.

The battery for such delivery is enough for 40 minutes of flight. And, as a cargo, designers can use medicines, documents, and various spare parts.

“For example, the average speed of movement, of the same courier is about 30 kilometers per hour. In traffic jams - about 20 kilometers per hour. UAV on a direct route flies at speeds of up to fifty kilometers per hour. That is, the delivery will be literally within 10-15 minutes”, the All Ufa TV channel quotes technical specialist for the development of unmanned aerial vehicle Ruslan Mullahmetov.
