Ambulance paramedics will receive tablets in Bashkiria

UFA, 25 February 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
In 2019, it is planned to purchase 305 tablets for ambulance paramedics to ensure that they will have access to the electronic medical record of patients online immediately, at the call site.
It was informed by the Interim Health Minister Maxim Zabelin during a briefing session in the Government of Bashkortostan on Monday, February 25. He reported on the formation of a unified information system, a single dispatching service of emergency medical service. The goal of the project is to provide that the nearest team arrives at the call, regardless of territorial affiliation.
Currently, there are 305 ambulance teams in 57 medical organizations. In seven rural areas, one team works during a shift, in 14 districts - two teams.
In Bashkortostan, a pilot project of ambulance service integration is being implemented in three territories. After modernization, the ambulance to any settlement arrives within 20 minutes.
In the coming years, it is planned to scale this project throughout the republic.
The Acting Head of the republic Radiy Khabirov drew the attention of the minister to the fact that modernization should not affect the quality of the services provided, and in no case increase the waiting time for an ambulance.
“You should check any facts of delay in the ambulance arrival”, said the head of the region addressing to Maxim Zabelin.
