Bannoe Lake in the Abzelilovo district of Bashkiria has become the most popular holiday destination among the lakes in Russia. Such data are provided by the Russian housing reservation service Tvil.ru.

In addition to Bannoe Lake, the city of Sol-Iletsk in the Orenburg region, the city of Ostashkov on the shores of Lake Seliger in the Tver region, the city of Yarovoye on the banks of the Great Yarovoye Lake in the Altai Territory and the city of Baikalsk on the southern coast of Baikal in the Irkutsk region were included in the top five favorite tourism places.

According to Tvil.ru, last year, tourists had a rest on Russian lakes for three to five days and spent on rental housing from 0.7 to 1.2 thousand rubles per person per day.

The rating was prepared according to the booking of apartments, houses, and cottages by tourists in 2018.
