50 children from Sibay went to pulmonological sanatorium of Bashkiria

On the morning of February 5, fifty children from Sibay went to Ishimbay pulmonological sanatorium. It is the first group of children departed for rehabilitation, who live in the houses located 500 meters from the Sibay quarry, in the so-called “zone-500”.

The head of the city noted that over 300 applications for rest in Bashkir sanatoriums had been received from residents.

“We will deal with them. Also, the head of the "Tanyp" sanatorium is ready to accommodate 50 people free of charge - older people who live in the “zone-500”,” said Rustem Afzalov. “A large number of applications was received for Crimea. Of these, 261 applications were processed and are ready. We have identified two trips of 250 people together with the attendants (social workers, doctors), altogether - 279 people. The issue is at the final stage of solving financing and transportation matters – the means are available in the republican fund”.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, 500 children from Sibay soon (at the end of February and in March) will go on vacation and recreation in sanatoriums in Crimea. About this during a meeting with the official delegation of the Crimea told the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov. According to him, this proposal was received from the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov. He learned about the difficult environmental situation in the Trans-Ural city and suggested organizing a trip for children from Sibay for rehabilitation in Crimea.
