Giant fans will help to eliminate smog effects in Sibay

Giant fans appeared in the city of Sibay. They will help to eliminate the effects of smog and unpleasant smell in the city.

As reported by Bashkortostan State TV and Radio Company, 120 and 200-kilowatt ventilation units are located on the quarry sides. One of them is fixed-site; the other is mobile based on a railway platform.

According to experts, in calm weather, the fans will create an air flow to disperse the gas, thereby reducing the concentration of hazardous substances in the atmosphere.

Recall that in Sibay since November last year, a high-alert mode is in operation. Due to the oxidation of ore in the unexploited quarry of the local UGOK (part of the UGMK holding), there is strong pollution of air.
