Bashkiria residents are encouraged to join "Bike2Work" campaign

On May 17 and September 20, an annual campaign "Bike2Work" will take place in Russia. Residents of Bashkiria are encouraged to join the event.

“Riding a bike on daily business is easy and convenient, it does not require special clothes or training,” the organizers say.

The campaign helps motivating citizens to use active modes of movement rather than personal vehicles, helps to promote healthy lifestyles, draw the attention of state, commercial and non-governmental organizations to the problems of preserving the city’s ecology and improving transport accessibility.

In 2018, the "Bike2Work" campaign was held in 35 subjects of the Russian Federation. More than 400 companies joined the campaign, with a total of more than 1 million employees.
