Radiy Khabirov and Sergey Aksenov flew to Sibay

Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and Head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov immediately after the official meeting departed for Sibay. There they visited an open quarry of the Sibay branch of the Uchalinsky Mining Plant, where works are continued to localize the center of ore smoldering and to reduce the release of sulfur dioxide as a result of this process.

The leaders of the regions on the site were briefed with the situation. They talked with the republican Minister of Industry Alexei Karpukhin and the Deputy Minister of Health RB Dinara Enikeeva, who work at the operational headquarters there. According to Dinara Enikeeva, only for today physicians directed to Sibay had appointments with 650 patients.

Sergey Aksenov said that the Crimean sanatoriums were ready to accommodate 500 children from Sibay for free.

“We will accommodate 500 children in the Crimean sanatoriums. We agreed that we would host them for free, at our expense. We will organize everything,” said Sergey Aksenov.

“We should first select the children from nearby areas, for medical reasons, the economically disadvantaged ones”, said Radiy Khabirov, addressing the city authorities. “You have a difficult task - to collect 500 children. This is a large number. Republic, in turn, will undertake the organization of the three charters.”
