Radiy Khabirov again demanded to reduce garbage collection costs

Today, at a briefing session in the Government, the Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov repeated his demand to reduce the cost of new public utility service - garbage collection.

In his opinion, the payment should not exceed 70 rubles for city residents, and it should not be more than 35 rubles for residents of settlements where the garbage collection system was not organized before.

The tariffs and standards for the garbage collection in the republic were revised several times by the departments. In December, the tariffs of regional operators were reduced by 4-29%. The State Committee RB for Tariffs has set a forecast fee for residents of apartment buildings - from 70 to 98 rubles, for residents of individual houses - from 71 to 100 rubles.

Bills for the municipal solid waste collection will be issued for Bashkortostan residents since January 25. But at the same time, there are already cases of receiving bills with a new line from management companies.

The Head of the Region once again reminded the heads of district administrations to provide all settlements with container sites until the end of 2019. According to him, the republic is ready to compensate for the costs of their arrangement. Currently, the need for container sites is more than 10 thousand, more than 20 thousand containers are also needed.

Radiy Khabirov appointed the Deputy Minister for Nature Use and Ecology of Bashkortostan Niyaz Fazyov responsible for control over the implementation of the reform in the field of waste management in the republic.

Since January 25, meetings with heads of rural settlements will be held in the region to analyze the current situation and problems in this sphere.
