New festive lights are established in Ufa

In Ufa, works are being completed on the festive decoration of public areas on the eve of New Year and Christmas.

According to the city administration, this morning the New Year illumination was officially lit in Pushkin Street, in the pedestrian zone of Lenin Street in the section from Zaki Validi Street to Pushkin Street, as well as in Teatralny Square. 65 trees are decorated with LED strip lights. A New Year composition in the form of three screws – is also installed here. The Ufa residents and guests of the capital will be able to take pictures near the art object in the form of a frame with the inscription "I love Ufa."

An installation in the form of a fabulous carriage drawn by two horses, a theater curtain, a fountain complex, six lamps- chandeliers, and 15 trees decorated with LED strips are installed in the Teatralny Square. On average, the decoration of a single tree took 200 meters of LED light strip.

Bright LED compositions decorated the odd side of Pushkin Street in the section from Lenin Street to Karl Marx Street. There are figures of deer, decorated trees. A figure of a ballerina is installed near the Opera and Ballet Theater.

Snowflakes are hung in the square, trees are decorated with bright, multi-colored garlands that create a fairy tale and plunge the citizens and guests of the capital into the New Year's atmosphere. The new system of illumination is all-weather, can be used in any of the seasons.

Earlier, the Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, ordered the municipalities to prepare the cities of the republic to New Year celebrations and to create a festive mood for the residents. On December 10, 2018, the New Year illumination was officially turned on in most streets of Ufa. Total, almost 37 km of garlands and more than 91.5 thousand lamps were repaired and mounted in city streets.
