Children's indoor car park with traffic lights and vehicles opened in Ufa

In Ufa, on the first floor of a multi-level parking lot, the first in Bashkiria children's indoor traffic safety center “PSK-6 car park” opened. The territory of a car park is a small copy of the transport system with a roadway and various types of intersections. For traffic control, traffic lights with illuminated color signals and road markings are provided. Signs for pedestrians and drivers, automatic barrier are established. In the future, it is planned to make a railway crossing.

20 electric vehicles for children aged 6 to 13 years, six hoverboards are available on an area of 1,500 square meters. The concept of the park: to teach the road rules while entertaining. “At this educational site, all children, including pupils of orphanages, pupils of correctional schools, will have an opportunity to master the skills of safe behavior on the roads,” said the Interim Minister of Education RB Aibulat Khazhin.

According to Dinar Gilmutdinov, the head traffic inspector of Bashkortostan, it is necessary to train skills of careful behavior on the roads from an early age.

“An improvised roadway will help children to learn the road rules in practice. Traffic police officers will come to the center and train children”, said Dinar Gilmutdinov.

At the center, a museum of retro cars will operate. Models for it were collected throughout Russia and then restored here later.
