Karine Khabirova took part in Moscow Folk Crafts Fair opening

UFA, 20 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The first lady of Bashkortostan, Karine Khabirova, took part in an opening of the Moscow Folk Crafts Fair of Russia. The 25th exhibition “Ladya. Zimnyaya Skazka - 2018" started its operation in Moscow.

The exhibition presents works of more than 1600 companies and craftsmen from 68 regions of Russia.

Within the framework of the fair, a business forum is held, during which 15 conferences, master classes, expert discussions, and a networking fair will be held in the next three days. Craftsmen from Bashkortostan presented handmade souvenirs, national costumes, jewelry, Bashkir honey and much more. According to the wife of the Acting Head of the republic, it is very important to present the republic as widely as possible, its national traditions and culture on the eve of important events for Bashkortostan.

“By the 100th anniversary of the republic, events are planned to be held in Moscow in spring and autumn. Besides Ufa will host events dedicated to handicrafts, artisans. I think that this is a good time to come into the spotlight so that as many people as possible will know about Bashkiria”, said Karine Khabirova.

The exhibition will work until December 23.
