Ufa will host New Year Ethno-Family Festival this weekend

UFA, 13 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Julia Shatalina/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. From December 15 to December 16, the New Year Ethno-Family Festival will take place in Ufa. The event will combine the modern and traditional vision of celebrating the New Year with family.

For two days of the festival visitors can get acquainted with local and visiting ethnic designers, artisans and craftsmen, stock up on gifts for the whole family for the New Year, buy live or artificial New Year trees.

Visitors will be able to watch a New Year's performance of the Bashkir Grandfather Frost - Actun Babay and Snow Maiden, a soap bubbles show, to take part in games, raffles, and quests from the event partners. Also live performances of Guzel Dance, Tagir Asadullin, Ruzila, Tamyr studio, and other artists will take place on the stage.

There will be a possibility to transform into a Bashkir beauty or batyr, and to take pictures against the background of a real Bashkir yurt.

Everyone will be able to attend free lectures about family values and informed parenthood.

The festival will become a platform for charity workshops from the “Poter Net” Charity Foundation and “Lomaya Baryery” with an option to make a donation.

The admission is free. The schedule and full program will be posted on the social media of the festival, the venue is ULTRA shopping mall.
