Additional 217 school buses were purchased for 242 million rubles in Bashkiria

UFA, 12 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. In Bashkiria, 217 buses were additionally purchased for 242 million rubles. This was announced by the Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov on his Instagram page.

Back in November, the head of the region paid close attention to the problem of transport wear, which was on the balance of educational organizations. According to the latest data, there are 1,289 school buses in the republic, 55 of them are not used due to a breakdown condition.

Also, according to Radiy Khabirov, those who are directly responsible for the safe and comfortable arrival of pupils to school - bus drivers, deserve special attention.

“In the Abzelilovo district, I met a school bus driver. Every day he drives 100 km: in the morning he gathers children from nearby villages, and in the evening he carries them home. It is obvious that he maintains the bus in a good state. It is clean, neat and warm inside. But still, the vehicle is very old - over 10 years old. It has exhausted its resource long time ago”, the Acting Head said.
