Life-saving drugs list is replenished by 36 new medications

UFA, 11 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The list of life-saving drugs is replenished by 36 medications. The list approved by the Government of the Russian Federation for 2019, now includes 735 items and dosage forms.

In 2018, there were 699 drugs included in the list. This list is approved annually: some drugs may be replaced with new and more effective ones, or the necessary drugs for those in need are just added to it.

Sofosbuvir is added to the list for 2019, which is necessary for effective therapy of hepatitis C.

The complete list prepared by experts of the Ministry of Health can be found on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation. The list of expensive drugs is replenished with one medication. In addition, one antiviral drug is included in the minimum range of drugs for medical care.
