Radiy Khabirov visited Interdistrict Perinatal Center in Beloretsk

UFA, 5 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Azat Gizatullin/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov visited a perinatal center in the city of Beloretsk. The head of the republic asked about the admission procedures for pregnant women and women in labor were organized, the availability of the necessary specialists in the medical institution.

According to the deputy chief physician of the Interdistrict Perinatal Center Fanil Latypov, their hospital tries to solve the issues of medical personnel provision. There is a shortage of anesthesiologists- emergency physicians, neonatal specialists.

“Work on attracting young doctors is carried out in the region and the city on a regular basis. For example, the municipality pays monetary compensation in the amount of 14 thousand rubles to young physicians who rent housing to solve their housing problem, and provide other social benefits”, Fanil Latypov shared with Bashinform News Agency. According to him, the maternity hospital actively collaborates with the Republican Perinatal Center.

“A medical and social care office operates in our women's health clinic. We also have a family planning office. Medical teams go to remote areas to provide medical assistance and consultation. Our main task is to reduce infant mortality so that each mother will leave our center with a happy smile and a healthy baby” said Fanil Latypov.

The first maternity hospital in Beloretsk was built in 1938. In 1997, the Interdistrict Perinatal Center was organized here providing medical care to women and newborns from Beloretsk, Uchaly, Mezhgorye, and Beloretsk, Uchaly, Burzyan, Abzelilovo districts.

In 2008, a new maternity hospital building with more than 100 beds was put into operation in the city of Beloretsk.
