Radiy Khabirov presented Maternal Glory medals to women in Bashkiria

Today in Ufa, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov awarded mothers of many children with the Maternal Glory medals. The republican award has been handed over to women who have been raising five or more children for the last 20 years. A monetary prize is enclosed to the medal - about eight thousand rubles. Today, more than seven thousand residents of Bashkortostan have such an award.

The ceremony was dedicated to the Mother's Day, which was celebrated last Sunday. 44 women received medals from the head of the region as a sign of state and public recognition of their merits.

“The centuries-old culture of large families has already been formed in our republic,” said Radiy Khabirov. “We have more than 50 thousand mothers of many children; they bring up more than 160 thousand children. This is a big, huge army, which also solves our demographic issue, which, as you know, is quite sharp lately. I would like to thank you for your work, for what you are, for raising wonderful children, the children growing up in warmth and kindness and becoming good people. I express you our deepest gratitude and thank you so much! ”
