3-millionth passenger is served at Ufa International Airport

For the first time in the history of the air hub, the Ufa International Airport served a three-millionth passenger. The passenger was registered at 04.50 for the flight of Azimut Airlines A4322 Ufa - Krasnodar. It was the Ufa resident Yulay Mambetov, who often has to fly between cities. As a gift, the airline presented the Ufa townsman with a certificate for a free round-trip flight for two persons on the airline's route network. Also, Yulay Mambetov received a certificate for a free parking space for a period of three months, souvenirs and a certificate for service in the business lounge of the domestic airline terminal as a gift from the Ufa airport.

According to the general director of the airport, Alexander Andreev, welcoming the three-millionth passenger is a landmark event for the airport, demonstrating the effectiveness of its work. For seven years, passenger traffic increased by 83%. Following the results of 10 months of 2018, the number of passengers transported through Ufa Airport increased by 17%, compared to the same period of the previous year. More than 14 thousand takeoffs and landings were made, which is 9% more than the results of 10 months of last year. The main growth factors were the large-scale renewal of the terminal of international airlines and the airfield complex, the current working program with airlines.
