TERRA BASHKIRIA ranked first in national rating of regional tourist brands

The tourist brand of Bashkortostan, TERRA BASHKIRIA, presented to the public in April 2018, ranked first in the national rating of regional tour brands. The third place was taken by the Shulgan-Tash Reserve in the “Reserves and Parks” nomination. The Burzyan wild-hive honey entered the top three in the nomination “Russian Sweets”. By the number of brands included in the national rating, Bashkortostan (3 brands) shared the 4th place with the Belgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Rostov, Tver, Yaroslavl regions and Mordovia. The final rating table includes 63 brands in 22 nominations with total annual revenue of more than 5.5 billion rubles.
All brands were evaluated by six criteria: brand awareness; its tourist attractiveness (recommendations and positive feedback from tourists); anti-loyalty to the brand (the presence of negative reviews, their number and character, including on websites otzovik.com, booking.com, tripadvisor.ru and others); financial performance of the brand owner; the costs of creation and promotion, as well as the total investment in the project, the media activity of the brand owner (according to the participants and media monitoring).
Absolute leaders in the rating and in their nomination were two Tula museums by the number of points earned: the Tula Weapon Museum and “The Kulikovo Field” State Museum of Military History and Nature.
The Moscow Region (6 brands) ranked first in the number of brands included in the national rating, Stavropol Territory (5 brands) ranked second, and the Primorye Territory, Tula and Arkhangelsk Regions took the third place.
