Ufa ranked 52nd in terms of cleanliness among Russian cities

UFA, 16 November 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Among Russian cities, Ufa ranked 52nd (and the fifth among million-plus cities) in the rating of cleanliness. This study was conducted by specialists of the real estate portal Domofond.ru. It was found out that residents of the capital of Bashkiria assessed the condition of their city in terms of cleanliness at 6.2 points.

“The respondents were asked to rate the statement “It is clean in my area, garbage is cleaned in a timely manner” on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 stood for “I completely disagree” and 10 for “I fully agree”. The average score was calculated for each city, which reflected the degree of satisfaction of residents with the cleanliness of neighborhoods and the timeliness of garbage collection”, the experts explained.

Krasnodar took the first place among the million-plus cities. It was followed by Moscow, Kazan and St. Petersburg. Anapa, Surgut and Saransk were among the three cleanest cities in Russia.

The Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov noted that “mere cleaning should be done in Ufa”.
