Radiy Khabirov: everything good in us we owe to our mothers

Mothers give us life, love, and their warmth. Motherly tenderness, wisdom, and care are always in our hearts”, said the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov at a solemn event on Mother's Day and summing up the Family Year in the republic.

“From the beginning of time, in Bashkortostan, a large family with many children and grandchildren was perceived as happiness and a gift of fate. Today, the republic takes the first place among the regions of the Volga Federal District in terms of large families. We have 50,000 such families with more than 160,000 children. We will continue the policy of supporting families in the republic and will take a number of additional measures”, said the head of the republic.

Radiy Khabirov said that he took personal control of issues related to the development of infrastructure for our children - the construction of schools, clinics, educational institutions. The head of the region also noted that in May 2019, Bashkortostan will host the next meeting of the Commissioners for Children's Rights. The forum will become a platform for the exchange of experience in the protection of motherhood and childhood.

The head of the republic awarded diplomas to the winners of the 9th republican contest “The Best Enterprise for Working Mothers”. This year, LLC Lukoil-Uralnefteprodukt, the Ufa Research and Production Enterprise “Molniya” and the Ufa Hospital No. 18 took the first places in their nominations. These organizations have created comfortable conditions for the effective realization of professional and family responsibilities by women.
