Direct flights to Israel from Ufa are opened on New Year Eve

On the night of December 28-29, the first charter direct flight to Ovda airport in Israel is scheduled from Ufa. The flights will be carried out by the Nordwind Airline under the program of the tour operator Pegas Touristik.

“In the future, the frequency of departures will be one flight in 10 days. The carrier intends to use the Boeing 737-800 aircraft designed for 189 passengers on the route. The travel time will be a little more than five hours: preliminary departures from Ufa are scheduled for 04.55, arrival in Ovda will be at 07.10 local time”, the press service of the Ufa International Airport said.

Ovda Airport is located near the Eilat resort town. The Ufa residents can go on vacation to the Israeli coast, or to the Egyptian one after crossing over the border by bus.
