87% of diagnostic medical equipment and 80% of ambulances are worn out in Bashkiria

UFA, 8 November 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Azat Gizatullin/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Of the 1020 units of diagnostic medical equipment in Bashkortostan, 87% are worn out. In the near future, it is planned to re-equip five regional vascular centers, re-equip fourteen and equip five primary care vascular departments with modern angiography units, computer and magnetic resonance scanners, equipment for early medical rehabilitation, it is also planned to purchase six mobile fluorography and seven mobile mammography units.

The Interim Minister of Health of the Republic Rafael Yapparov at a meeting of the relevant Committee of the State Assembly drew attention to the high wear of medical vehicles. As of October 1 of the current year, 532 ambulance vehicles operate in the medical organizations of the republic, the service wear of which is 80%.

“This year the republic will receive 25 vehicles at the expense of the federal budget, the other day it was decided to allocate another 25 vehicles for federal funds. Another 172 will be purchased at the expense of the republican budget. Total, the ambulance fleet will be updated by 40%, ”said Rafael Yapparov.
