Temperature drop to -14 degrees is expected in Bashkiria by end of week

UFA, 7 November 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The current week weather in Bashkortostan is expected to be contrasting in temperatures, according to the republican Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Office.

The average daily air temperatures will be above the norm by 3-4 degrees for most of the week. At the end of the week, they will drop sharply to 4-5 degrees below normal. Precipitation in the form of wet snow is likely.

Tomorrow, November 8, light wet snow is expected, in some places increasing to moderate. In some areas snow build-up on wires and trees, ice-slick at night and in the morning on some parts of the road, and packed snow are possible. The wind will be western with strong gusts. The air temperature at night will be -3, + 2 C, in the daytime 0, + 5 C.

On Friday, November 9, during the day and at night, light snow is expected in some places in the republic. At night, the air temperature will drop to -4, -9 C, going down to -14 at bright intervals, in the afternoon reaching -1, -6 C.
