About 5.5 thousand families in Bashkortostan received large family status in 2018

UFA, 24 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. From January to September 2018, 5,451 children were born the third in their families in Bashkiria. Thus, for nine months in the republic about 5.5 thousand large families were formed.

During this period, 35,842 children were born in Bashkortostan, including 452 twins, six triples, 1648 fourths, and 797 fifths or more children in the family. Data on the results of the last nine months is published by the press service of the Republican State Committee for Justice.

According to the regional Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Protection RB, 45 thousand large families live in Bashkortostan today. Of these, about 24,000 use various measures of social support.

From 2019, large families of Bashkortostan, in which eight children are brought up, will receive 600 thousand rubles each. The corresponding bill was prepared by the Government and the Ministry of Labor RB and considered at a meeting of the Committee for Health, Social Policy and Affairs of Veterans of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB.
