Emergency Situations Ministry warns motorists about frosts and fog in Bashkiria

On October 23, in Bashkortostan, fog is expected in some areas, with frosts down to -8 C in the east of the republic. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for RB with reference to the Bashkir Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring. It will be cloudy in the region, with the southern wind increasing to moderate 5 m/s at night, gusty 5-10 m/s during the day. Light rains are expected in the northwest in the afternoon. The air temperature will be -2, + 3 C at night, in the east frosts to -8 C, in the afternoon reaching + 6, + 11 C. Fog is expected in some parts of highways at night and in the morning, visibility is limited to 200-500 meters.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds motorists to observe traffic rules and speed limits in conditions of insufficient visibility.

“Do not forget about the fog lights. Be more attentive on the roads! Pedestrians, be careful while crossing roads", the department gave recommendations in connection with bad weather conditions.
