What professions will be in demand in next 10 years in Russia - experts

UFA, 4 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. In the next 10 years, engineers in creating digital twins, virtual traffic police officers and specialists in digital anomalies may appear in Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

Representatives of Avtonet, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives decided to create a consortium of educational organizations that will have to develop educational standards for new professions.

“Currently, the development of a classifier of new professions and a matrix of competencies is in full swing, which will be made public before the end of 2018,” RIA Novosti quotes Yaroslav Fedoseyev, the head of the press service of the Avtonet scientific and technological institute.

It is noted that experts on digital anomalies will be engaged in predicting and calculating artificial intelligence failures in vehicles, including unmanned cars.

Virtual traffic police officers will monitor road safety, and digital twin engineers will be able to virtually simulate the behavior of the driver and the car in emergency conditions.

These professions can be in demand among automakers, design bureaus, analytical centers, development companies and research institutes.
