Rustem Khamitov delivered speech at Family Entrepreneurs Forum in Moscow

On October 2, in Moscow, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the Family Entrepreneurs Forum “Successful Family - Successful Russia!” and took part in the discussion forum “Family-Business-State: Components of Successful Partnership”.

The forum, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, is attended by heads of federal and regional authorities, representatives of public organizations, business, the expert community, the media, as well as families from all regions of the country.

“Simultaneously with the All-Russian Volunteer Year, a Family Year is conducted in Bashkortostan”, said Rustem Khamitov. “We have an understanding that the family is a fundamental basis of our society. It is even a basis of our state. It is impossible to achieve something without attentive, proper, good attitude to the family, and family traditions.”

The discussion platform “Family-Business-State: Components of Successful Partnership”, in which the Head of the Republic took part, was devoted to the development of family business, its fair taxation, and practical aspects of this area of entrepreneurship.

Rustem Khamitov told about the support provided to families in our republic.

“We are pioneers in this sense. We have formed the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Protection of Bashkortostan. A local family policy department was created in each municipality, ”the Head of Bashkortostan said.

According to Rustem Khamitov, honey apiaries are one of the types of family businesses in the republic. Also, cooperatives can be an example of family entrepreneurship, when several families are united in cooperative enterprises.

“We support this area of activity. There are subsidies, financing, assistance with loans, etc. Bashkortostan is a successful region of the Russian Federation with a budget surplus. This is one of the few regions that has profits. We have almost no debts and, certainly, there is an opportunity to help. And we render this help,” stressed the Head of the Republic.
