Bashkiria residents will have 10-day New Year holidays

Residents of Bashkiria, like all Russians, will have the ten-day New Year holidays - from December 30, 2018 to January 8, 2019. The corresponding resolution was published on the website of the Government of Russia.

Besides, the weekends of January 5 and 6 (Saturday and Sunday) and February 23 (Saturday), which fall on public holidays, are postponed to May 2, 3 and 10, respectively.

In 2019, the Russian citizens will have days off on February 23-24, from March 8 to 10, from May 1 to May 5, from May 9 to 12, on June 12 on the Day of Russia and from November 2 to 4 on the occasion of the Day of National Unity.

In Bashkiria, non-working holidays will also be on June 4 - Eid al-Fitr, August 11 - Eid al-Adha, October 11 - Republic Day in 2019.
