Bashkortostan became second in country in terms of applications for presidential grants

UFA, 12 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Bashkortostan took the second place in the country in the number of applications for participation in the second contest of presidential grants in 2018.

Excluding Moscow and St. Petersburg, non-profit organizations of the Volgograd region with 440 projects, the Republic of Bashkortostan, which presented 320 projects, and the Republic of Tatarstan - 312 project initiatives were the most active, according to the official website of the Fund - the operator of presidential grants.

Non-profit organizations mostly request grants in the range from 500 thousand to 3 million rubles. There are 55% of such projects.

The most popular grant area among the participants of the competition is "Health protection of citizens, promotion of a healthy lifestyle", 17% of projects are presented on it. 14% of applications were submitted in the direction "Support of projects in the field of science and education", another 13% - in the direction of "Social services, social support, and protection of citizens."

Recall that during the second contest of 2018, experts of the Resource Center for Support of Non-profit organizations of the Public Chamber of Bashkortostan (RC) held numerous information and methodological events for local and republican public organizations. In just one and a half years of operation of the Non-Profits Resource Center, more than 106 million federal funds were attracted to our republic for the implementation of social projects of public organizations of Bashkortostan, the Public Chamber of the region reports.
