Bashkortostan Statistics Agency: population decline amounted to almost 6,5 thousand people in republic for seven months
UFA, 11 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Statisticians report a natural and migratory decline in the population in Bashkortostan.
According to the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, in January-July 2018, 27 565 people were born in the republic, 30 255 died. The natural population decline was 2690 people, in 2017 it was -1571 people. In the city of Ufa, 7,783 people were born, 7128 died for 7 months.
During this period, 80,308 people arrived in Bashkortostan, 84,035 left it. The migration loss amounted to 3,727 people. For the same period of the last year, there was also a decline - 572. 19 970 people departed Ufa, 16 824 people arrived here, the loss was 3,146 people for 7 months.
The total population decline in the republic was almost 6 454 people, last year it was 2143.
