Reputational rating of Russian universities is made: Bashkiria universities positions

RAEX rating agency presented new reputation ratings of the higher education institutions in enlarged directions. This refers to the Top 50 universities in the fields of "Technical, natural sciences and exact sciences" and "Economics and Management", as well as Top-10 universities in the areas of "Mathematics and natural sciences", "Humanitarian and social areas" and "Medicine".

According to the agency, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University is among the top 50 universities of the country in the category "Technical, natural sciences and exact sciences" with the 33rd position.

Bashkir State University is in the Top-50 in the field of "Economics and Management", taking the 42nd line.

The rating was compiled primarily by the results of surveys conducted by the RAEX agency in 2016-2018. Respondents' opinions about the quality of education, the demand for graduates in the market, and the level of scientific research were taken into account. Representatives of the academic and scientific community, employers, plus students and graduates took part in the surveys - more than 60 thousand people.

In addition to Moscow State University, only three universities managed to simultaneously enter the Top-10 both in technical and economic directions: these are St. Petersburg State University, Novosibirsk State University (NSU) and Tomsk State University (Tomsk). But the N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University was recognized as the best university in the field of "technical sciences, engineering and technology". It was followed by the Polytechnic Universities of Tomsk and St. Petersburg.

The first place in the reputational rating in the field of "medicine" was taken by the Sechenov University.
