Open Educational Media Forum is taking place in Ufa

An Open Educational Media Forum, which brought together about 300 journalists from all over the republic, is taking place in Ufa. The work of the forum is organized within the framework of three discussion platforms: "Expanding Media Opportunities through Promotion on the Internet", "Regional TV Channels Development Strategy", "Bashkortostan - the Territory of Media, Power and Society Dialogue". Deputies of the State Assembly, directors and chief editors of regional and federal media, famous bloggers, representatives of the largest search Internet systems act as moderators and speakers of the platforms.

The Chairman of the State Assembly - the Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Secretary of the regional branch of "United Russia" Konstantin Tolkachev, welcoming the participants of the meeting, stressed that the media play one of the key roles in the life of the country.

The Chairman of the State Assembly emphasized the high rate of changes in the modern information society.

"Under the circumstances, not only the fastness but also the quality of information delivery can be decisive", Konstantin Tolkachev said. "Real professionals working in the media should understand the high degree of responsibility in media activities sphere. The today's forum is aimed at creating conditions for this, to promote the development of professional skills and communication in the journalistic environment".
