Bashkiria capital will host first forum of active citizens "Live Ufa"

The first forum of active citizens "Live Ufa" will take place at the exhibition complex of Ufa (158 Mendeleyev St.) on September 5 and 6. According to the organizers, more than 300 people are expected to participate, as well as experts from the "Live Cities" national initiative from Moscow, Izhevsk and Samara.

The Forum program includes:

Master classes of invited speakers "City as an Ecosystem", "Five Steps to Revitalize the City", "Live City Environment", "How to Manage the Historical Heritage", "Futuro Urbanism", "Co-Governance and the Right to the City";

- "City Ecology", "Urban Environment", "Urban Activism and Involvement", "Historical Heritage", "Cultural Development", "Municipal Public Partnerships" discussion groups;

- plein air, design laboratories, project fair, press-buffet.

The "Live Ufa" is a public initiative for the comprehensive development of Ufa, undertaken by the city community of active citizens with the same name. It is a part of the national initiative "Live Cities" aimed at creating and implementing a new vision for the Russian cities development in the 21st century, the organizers said. "The aim of the forum is to unite active citizens, representatives of public organizations, authorities and businesses in one space for further dialogue and effective interaction."
