Japan journalists are gaining insight into tourist potential of Bashkortostan

According to the press service of the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism, today guests from the Land of the Rising Sun traveled to the Burzyan district. In the second half of the day, they will have a tour to the Shulgan-Tash reserve, where journalists will be able to taste wild-heave honey, as well as to visit the cave with pictures of the Paleolithic era.

On Tuesday, September 4, representatives of Japanese media will visit the "Assy" sanatorium in Beloretsk district, which is famous for its spa treatment.

The visit of foreign journalists is organized by the Republican State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism in connection with the growing interest from the Asian tourism market to the sanatorium and resort facilities of Russia and the medical tourism sector.

As part of the tour, the guests of the republic have already examined the Ufa hotels, which include hotels of international chains Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn. And they also have visited the Zorge Fitness health center.

Earlier it was reported that in the autumn of 2018 a presentation of tourism opportunities of Bashkortostan will be held in Japan. The head of the republic, Rustem Khamitov, stated this during the meeting with Tokuro Furuya, the Plenipotentiary Minister of the Japanese Embassy in Russia.

"In general, the Republic of Bashkortostan is interested in interacting with the Japanese side. We know that today the flow of tourists from Japan to Russia is growing and, vice versa, more and more people are coming from Russia to Japan", said Rustem Khamitov. "In September, a presentation of the tourism potential of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be held in Japan. We will participate in this all-Russian event. Several entities of the Russian Federation will be represented there. Today I have signed the relevant papers".
